Nasi Jamblang (Jamblang rice in Indonesian) is a typical food from Cirebon, West Java. The name Jamblang is derived from the name of the area to the west of Cirebon Regency where the food merchant came from. The special feature of this food is the use of teak leaves as a rice wrapper. Food presentation is also a buffet.

Origin of name The name jamblang rice is said to originate from a village name in the west of Cirebon Regency, namely Jamblang village, Jamblang, Cirebon. Even though it is called sega jamblang, this food has nothing to do with trees or jamblang fruit.
